about me

Based near Guildford, Surrey, Mr.Wright’s is a home based remote edit facility specifically geared towards producers who are looking for a more cost effective solution when compared to a Central London post house.

It is owned and run by editor Keith Wright who has industry experience of over eighteen years. He graduated from the National Film and Television School in 1998 and his credits range from feature films, television and high-end corporates.

Mr. Wright’s suite comprises of the latest hardware and software from Apple and Avid. It is capable of handling almost all of the latest HD formats. See FAQ’s for more detailed tech specs.

There are many benefits to working remotely, but undoubtedly the biggest one is cost. Because a remote home based facility has such low overheads a producer can potentially save thousands from their budget.

Developments in web technology mean that it is even easier to keep clients in the loop with video uploads, and video conferencing programs such as Skype mean that you can ‘virtually’ sit in on the edit for live feedback and discussion.

With remote editing you also have more flexibility with your schedule. Because your editor effectively lives with the suite, you can get things moving fast if a last minute change is required.
